 At the heart of this traditional Yorkshire pub is a well stocked long bar with a full range of excellent, well kept, Timothy Taylor’s locally brewed cask condition ales, a selection of lagers, ciders and spirits including fine malt whiskies, top brandies and popular liqueurs. This traditional Yorkshire pub has a traditional bar with oak beams and two open fires giving character and warmth on a long winter evening or a chilly lunchtime.We pride ourselves on our award winning beers and Michael’s Cask Marque award assures you of a superb pint of cask ale.Our two extensive dining areas provide relaxed surroundings in which to enjoy home cooked food complemented by a comprehensive wine list which includes whites, reds, and rosés from France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Germany and California as well as champagnes and sparkling wines.The Dog & Gun’s original “Well Restaurant” is self contained and situated to the right of the main bar. Beneath this restaurant is the original well which can be seen through the glass floor. The newer restaurant is to the left of the bar at the front of the building overlooking the moors and down into Oxenhope itself. Both areas can be used for private parties and small weddings. All our products are sourced from local suppliers with fresh deliveries daily.We have a weekly Quiz Night (usually on a Monday), theme nights throughout the year, wine tasting evenings and various promotions. The Shepherds Rest - Todmorden

They took over in February 2005, and have since succeeded in making “The Shepherd’s’ one of the busiest food establishment in the region. They had previously run pubs (and made their mark!) in both their home city of Manchester more recently in Cheshire. This is their first venture into a food venue and they seem to have found their niche.Having recently refurbished the Langfields suite, there isn’t a taste they don’t cater for. Families are welcomed into the Gallery restaurant, with the children’s play area just oustide the door. Following a long spell of ownership by a large brewery, The George had suffered from a lack of investment and was closed and put up for sale.Chris and Jo could see the potential that a well run village pub could offer to the Cullingworth community.Chris Thompson has lived in Cullingworth for his entire life and is the 4th generation of his family to live in the village.Chris is the head brewer and partner at the award winning Old Spot Brewery, which has now been running for 6 years. Jo Storton, originally from Keighley, has lived in Station Road with Chris for several years. With a wealth of experience in customer relations, Jo’s now enjoying the challenge of welcoming new people to the George.
